Professional Biography
Cheryl has twenty years of progressive experience in the ADR field and holds National Mediation Accreditation. Her professional history covers a variety of mediator roles across a number of government departments in both regional Queensland and other States of Australia. Her practice includes mediations in commercial and business disputes; child protection, youth justice and family matters; as well as, workplace and community disputes. Cheryl has extended her practice by accepting appointment to a number of specialized National and State Panels and is an Associate with Northern Mediators. Cheryl spent thirteen years managing conflict in a large secondary school, where she successfully translated an adult mediation program into a youth friendly service. Alongside implementing this unique initiative, she effectively taught conflict management and mediation skills.
