At THE NEUTRALS, entry into The Neutrals Bench requires rigorous verification and an ongoing commitment to international standards of practice. This ensures that when you appoint a neutral, you can trust their independence, impartiality, and professionalism.
Verification Process
Credentials Review → qualifications, jurisdictional recognition, sector expertise.
Conflict & Independence Check → mandatory disclosure of conflicts of interest.
Ethics Commitment → pledge to impartiality, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Peer Endorsement → reviewed by senior members of The Bench.
Ongoing Oversight → continuous monitoring during membership.
Standards We Uphold
Independence → neutrals have no financial or relational bias.
Impartiality → neutrals never act as advocates for a side.
Confidentiality → strict protocols protect sensitive information.
Competence → only trained and credible professionals are admitted.
International Best Practice → aligned with global norms (UNCITRAL, New York Convention, mediation frameworks).
Oversight & Accountability
All neutrals operate under The Neutrals Ethics Council.
Breaches of independence or ethics are investigated promptly.
Non-compliance may result in suspension or removal from The Bench.
