See the disputebefore it forms.

The GBI™ Organisational Health Assessment reads the behavioural signals in your commercial relationships — before any dispute has occurred. It identifies which of your partner, vendor, or distributor relationships are showing early-stage deterioration, which are stable, and which require immediate intervention. The world's first commercial relationship health diagnostic based on behavioural intelligence.

The insight behind GBI™

Disputes don't erupt. They accumulate — through micro-events nobody is tracking.

One delayed email. One misinterpreted message. One unmet expectation. One tone shift in a call. These are not dramatic events. They are the normal micro-events of commercial life — and they compound silently. By the time a dispute becomes visible to leadership, it is already in its late-middle stage. Positions have hardened. Lawyers have been quietly briefed. The relationship is already damaged.

The GBI™ Governance & Behavioural Intelligence Framework identifies these signals early — before positions harden, before lawyers enter, before the cost of resolution becomes larger than the value of the relationship. Commercial relationships are governed far more by human behaviour than by contracts. GBI™ reads the behaviour.

No other institution offers this. There is no equivalent diagnostic product in the global commercial dispute prevention market. The GBI™ Assessment was developed through TheNeutrals.ORG™'s proprietary INDS™ methodology and its work with corporations managing complex partner networks worldwide.

What GBI™ detects that no internal team can
  • Tone deterioration in written communication — the shift from collaborative to guarded language that precedes most disputes by 6–8 weeks
  • Compliance decline — small, unreported instances of agreement non-compliance that signal a partner has mentally already exited the relationship
  • Avoidance behaviour — increased response delays, shorter messages, escalating from operational to senior contacts without explanation
  • Power dynamic shifts — when one party begins leveraging structural dependency to extract compliance rather than earn it
  • Defensive positioning — pre-emptive documentation of perceived wrongs, indicative of a party building a case
  • Relationship fatigue — declining engagement, reduced proactivity, and the absence of the relational investment that characterises healthy partnerships
The 10 INDS-BF™ signals

Every assessment evaluates ten behavioural dimensions across every relationship reviewed.

Communication tone
Is the language in written and verbal communication collaborative, guarded, adversarial, or withdrawing? Tone is the earliest signal of relationship deterioration.
Defensiveness
Is the party pre-emptively documenting grievances, over-explaining decisions, or building a position before any challenge has been made?
Avoidance
Are response times lengthening? Are conversations being deflected to written records? Are meetings being cancelled or delayed without explanation?
Aggression
Is the party using leverage, making implicit threats, escalating unnecessarily, or adopting a position of strength disproportionate to the issue?
Inconsistency
Are statements inconsistent with actions? Are commitments made and then quietly not followed through? Is the story changing?
Emotional triggers
What specific topics, words, or situations produce disproportionate reactions? These are the pressure points that will drive escalation.
Power dynamics
Is one party using structural dependency to control the relationship? Is compliance being extracted rather than given willingly?
Role insecurity
Are individuals within the organisation protecting their own position — making decisions based on internal politics rather than the commercial relationship?
Hidden motives
Is the stated position in the dispute the real position? What does the evidence suggest about the actual interest behind the stated demand?
Relationship fatigue
Has the relational investment that characterises a healthy partnership — proactivity, goodwill, collaborative problem-solving — quietly withdrawn?

Traffic light classification
Red — Active deterioration · Intervene now
Multiple INDS-BF™ signals are active and compounding. The relationship is in the early-dispute stage. Without intervention in the next 30 days, this will become a formal dispute. Specific immediate actions are recommended.
Amber — Early warning signals · Monitor closely
Two to four behavioural signals are present and beginning to compound. The relationship is not yet in crisis but is showing the pattern that precedes 70%+ of commercial disputes. Preventive action is recommended within 60 days.
Green — Healthy · No action required
Behavioural health is strong. Communication is collaborative, commitments are being met, and the relationship shows the mutual investment that characterises sustainable commercial partnerships. Reassess at next quarterly cycle.
