FICM administers the Franchise dispute resolution Program which is led by a Steering Committee of franchisers, franchisees, and other influential participants in the franchise community.

The mission of the Program is to encourage the mediation or other non-judicial management of disputes arising between franchisers and franchisees. and to encourage all members of the franchise community – – and those who counsel them – – to resolve such conflicts fairly, amicably and cost-effectively.

Available in printed format, the Program outlines a procedure for effective and efficient management of disputes between franchisers and franchisees.
