FICM administers the Franchise Mediation Program which is led by its  Committee of franchisers, franchisees, and other influential participants in the franchise community. The mission of the Program is to encourage the mediation or other non-judicial management of disputes arising between franchisers and franchisees. 

The Program’s goal is to encourage the mediation or other non-judicial management of disputes arising between franchisers and franchisees and to encourage all members of the franchise community to resolve such conflicts fairly, amicably and cost-effectively.
