Jesusito Morallos is both a lawyer and a civil engineer. He is the President of the Philippine Institute of Arbitrators (PIArb, 2020-2021), the Chairman of the Regional Arbitral Institute Forum (RAIF, 2021), and the immediate past President of the Philippine Institute of Construction Arbitrators and Mediators (PICAM, 2018-2019). He is the Dispute Resolution Administrator of the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market
He is an accredited Arbitrator of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center (PDRCI, 2004-present), the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission (CIAC, 2008-present), the Philippine International Center for Conflict Resolution (PICCR, 2019-present), and Intellectual Property Office (2010-present). His expertise are in construction, energy, PPP and property development.
He has been appointed as arbitrator in an ICC arbitration seated in Singapore and in more than 60 arbitrations in the Philippines. He has acted as counsel in a number of arbitrations before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and the Hong Kong International Arbitration Center (HKIAC) as well as in almost a hundred arbitrations in the Philippines.
He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb), the Society of Construction Law (SCL), and the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation (DRBF).
