Mr. Safir Anand is an IP expert who acts as a brand strategist for clients from diverse industries and sectors. He continually advises numerous Fortune 500 companies and has been very creative in his approach for protecting brand values, fair use of IP and nurturing business. He comes up with very interesting industry specific Knowledge products i.e. Fashion, Food industry, Pharma industry etc. to keep his clients abreast of the latest trends and developments.

He is a member of the Bar Council of India, INTA, APAA, Asia-Pacific Lawyers Association, SAARCLAW, AIPPI, International Bar Association, LIMA India Advisory Committee, Luxury Society, The Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel, The International Franchising Association, "FICM-MCN Accredited Dispite Resolution Expert , National Restaurant Association of India. Also, He is on the board of directors of IFMA, committee member of INTA Brand Value-Special Task Force and Brands and Innovation, Brand and Marketing Team and Marketing to Kids Team. Also, he is a part of the Andhra Pradesh Govt Task force, Dept of Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Dept to work on setting up India's first CYBER school. The Govt of Israel is also a part of this prestigious assignment. Also, he is on a lookout to encourage young talent and innovation as a part of Melting Pot 2020.

Mr. Anand has spoken extensively at various conferences including the concepts of “IP Survival Theory organized by Event and Entertainment Management Association, talk on valuation of IP on the occasion of World IP Day 2018 at Mahindra’s head office in Mumbai , strategic talk on Branding, Vigilance, Marketing and Monetization at the Mahindra Group Legal Summit, he was a speaker at the event organised by Licensing Corner, he gave a talk on IP Licensing and Franchising at the largest Children Baby & Maternity Expo India, addressed over 70 CEO’s about safeguarding value in MSME and SME businesses in India, he gave a talk on Disruptive Innovation and he also spoke at Indian Restaurant Congress 2017.

He has been featured both in his capacity as a lawyer, investor and strategist in Economic Times, Times Of India, Hindustan Times, Financial Times, Financial Express, Live Mint, Asian Age, Business Standard, Mint, Patriot, Dalal Street Journal, Quint, The Week, Business World etc. He gave an interview recently to ET Now expressing his views on value of intangibles to a business.
