He is known for handling complex disputes that include high-value conflicts between multinational conglomerates and sovereign nation-states which are resolved via the challenging route of International Commercial Arbitrations, Investor State Arbitrations, Ad-hoc Arbitrations etc.

Waseem’s diverse practice includes advising leading corporate houses, high-net-worth individuals from India and different parts of the world on the matter of White-Collar Crime Defense & Prosecution, Corruption, Extradition, Money Laundering and other Criminal matters.

His practice also involves handling complex cases pertaining to Restructuring & Insolvency ranging from advising, representing and defending various Financial Creditors, Operational Creditors and Corporate Debtors along with representing the IRP/RP in the CIRP & liquidation process etc.

He has been actively involved in developing new practice verticals at MZM.

Waseem has completed a Comprehensive Course in International Commercial Arbitration certified by the Columbia Law School and the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. Also, his membership various International Arbitration Institutions/Centres attest to his expertise in the International Commercial Arbitration arena. He is also a designated Member of CIARB and has been recognised as an Accredited Dispute Resolution Professional (Arbitrator and Mediator) by Federation of Integrated Conflict Management.
