Giovanni Di Folco is a highly motivated expatriate Civil Engineer, Dispute Board Member, International Arbitrator and Expert Witness (Delay & Quantum) with nearly 40 years of professional experience. He is a Member of the FIDIC’s President List of Certified Adjudicators, a FIDIC Certified Adjudicator, a FIDIC Member and Accredited Trainer and Visiting Professor at Polytechnic of Milano University, Italy. He is also the Vice President of the Romanian Associations of Consulting Engineers (ARIC), the Past President of the Dispute Resolution Board Foundation Region 2 Board (DRBF) and the Vice President & Treasurer of the European Court of Arbitration – Romanian & Moldova Chapters. He is experienced in Project & Contract Management and Dispute Resolution, and is a Claims\' Expert (Delay and Quantum) with extensive international experience gained in multi-disciplinary Civil Engineering Projects in Italy, Norway, Sweden, Algeria, Ethiopia, Iran, Libya, South Africa, Kingdom of Lesotho, Sultanate of Oman, Qatar, UAE, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Moldova, Turkey, India, Vietnam, Panama, Canada, Chile, Peru and Romania, who attained professional recognition over the past thirty five years of experience in Civil Engineering and Disputes Resolution. He has demonstrated acumen for construction and design engineering and management at all levels, has an acute awareness of cost control and project planning, ability to provide an immediate and calculated response to situations both in the financial and technical sectors of the profession, who possesses proven ability to sustain responsibilities from high level management through to operational level. He possesses an openly communicative disposition at every level of management, with Consultants, Contractors, Owners/Employers, Government Officials, Banking and Insurance Institutions and has earned the respect and trust of many parties involved in this complex and demanding industry at every level over the years. He has an acute awareness of specific Country and International Law, the importance of quality and safety and the moral and legal responsibilities that they impose. Although a Specialist Pavement Engineer by profession, the international experience gained has enabled the development of his wide diversity of skills in Contract, Delay and Quantum Analyses, Planning Engineering, Construction law, Claims, Adjudication and Arbitration.
